This means that it qualifies for funding<\/strong> and also that all restoration will be done under the supervision of the Direction R\u00e9gionale des Affaires Culturelles (D.R.A.C)<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The terms of funding mean that the ch\u00e2teau owner must use an architect<\/strong> who is registred by the D.R.A.C ans similarly all the workmen used on the site must have been recognised<\/strong> by the D.R.A.C for their expertise.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The status of historic monument is also a guarantee of confidence for donors and anyone wishing to contribuate<\/strong> to the improvement of this site of historic interest.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Plans<\/strong>\u00a0:<\/p>\n

The restoration of the Pavilion Sully<\/strong>, to the left of the main gate, will be the object of a years work<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

From the ground floor to the eaves, everithing will be restored to its XVIIth century condition<\/strong>. The windows have just been removed and are now with the carpenter.<\/p>\n

A study underway for the main restoration of the medievale castle.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/3″][vc_column_text]Other recognitions<\/strong> which the ch\u00e2teau has received over the last few years show our commintment in several fields\u00a0:<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

2016 Nature<\/strong>\u00a0: our cedar of Lebanon<\/strong> \u2013 now about 300 years old<\/strong> \u2013 has been nominated as an \u00ab\u00a0 Arbre Remarquable de France<\/strong> \u00ab\u00a0 because of its regular maintenance, its good health, its beautiful shape in, its setting and lastly its great age. It holds this accolade with 500 other trees throughout France.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

2014 Tourism<\/strong>\u00a0: the ch\u00e2teau was named \u00ab\u00a0 most popular tourist site<\/strong> \u00ab\u00a0 by the department of Loir&Cher. The quality of the welcome<\/strong>, the presentation of the buildings to the public and the maintenance of the grounds, make the ch\u00e2teau a lovely place to spend a few hours.<\/strong><\/p>\n

3D virtual visit<\/strong>\u00a0: The ch\u00e2teau is also the first place in Europe<\/strong> to present a virtual visit with a tablet and head-sets which provide a 3D experience<\/strong> to transport our visitors on a voyage througt time. An excellent way to absorb the history of the ch\u00e2teau and castle.<\/p>\n

Art and history<\/strong>\u00a0: this ch\u00e2teau is also a member of the organisation<\/strong> \u00ab\u00a0 Pays d\u2019Art et d\u2019Histoire \u00ab\u00a0 which ains to provide information about all tourist sites of quality which bring art and history together.<\/p>\n
