Top des Loir-et-Cheriens 2014
What is it ?
A competition organized since 2009 by the local newspaper (La Nouvelle République), the departement’s chamber of commerce and also the regional committee of tourisme (les Top du tourisme) which aims to reward the best initiatives in the department to encourage local tourism.
How does it work ?
First, tourist sites interested in taking part in the challenge, announce their candidature to the organizing bodies.
Then, in the case of the TOP des Loirs-et-Chériens, the tourists who visit the Loir-et-Cher choose their prefered site.
To do that, voting forms are available in all the participating sites and in the tourist offices in the Loir-et-Cher.
Tourists vote either
- By placing their vote in an urn
- By e-mail
Finally, at the end of the tourist season, a presentation ceremony is held in a tourist site ; when the prize is given by the organizers of the TOP des Loirs-et-Chériens.
